Precision Bright Bars.
Every Bar Traceable.
15 years of cold drawn bright bar in 10 steel grades, round and hex, from a plant running 3 drawing lines and 1,500+ MT of capacity a month. Every bundle carries its heat number. Every dispatch carries a test certificate.
Our steel
Ten grades, four technical families
Grouped the way a design engineer actually chooses — by what the steel has to do, not by an alphabetical list.
Grade selector
What are you manufacturing?
Start from your product, not from a specification sheet. We will point you at the grade that fits.
For fasteners, we recommend
EN1A
EN1A Free Cutting Bright BarThe volume standard. Excellent chip breaking and high permissible cutting speeds for general nuts, bolts, studs and turned parts.
How it is made
From mill coil to finished bright bar
Five controlled steps. Each one recorded against the heat number being processed.
Raw Material
Wire rod coils and black bars sourced from JSW and other leading mills, each with its heat number and mill test certificate.

Shot Blasting
Steel shot removes mill scale and rust, preparing a clean surface for drawing.

Cold Drawing
The bar is pulled through a hardened die with lubricant, reducing diameter and improving surface finish, straightness and tolerance.

Straightening & Cutting
Precision straightening followed by cutting to the required lengths.

Inspection & Bundling
Dimensional check, bundling and QR tagging with full heat traceability.

Our single biggest advantage
Every bundle carries its heat number
From the mill coil to your shop floor, every bar we produce is traceable to its original heat number — and to the line, shift, operator and die that made it.
- For your quality audits — complete documentation, retrievable on the day it is asked for
- For IATF 16949 and ISO compliance — full batch traceability, not a general grade certificate
- For any concern — the affected batch is bounded immediately, not the whole production period
Step 01
Mill Coil
Heat Number + Mill Test Certificate
Step 02
Goods Receipt (GRN)
Heat number recorded once, in the ERP
Step 03
Cold Drawing
Line · Shift · Operator · Die · Date
Step 04
Bundle + QR Tag
Scan for full history
Step 05
Delivery Challan
Heat number printed
Step 06
Test Certificate
Kalika TC + Mill TC
Scan the QR tag on any bundle and the complete history comes back — heat, line, shift, operator, die and date.

Our story
Drawing bright bar since 2010
A supplier who has run continuously since 2010 has kept dispatches moving through the 2016 demonetisation, the GST transition, the COVID shutdowns and every steel price cycle in between. That is not marketing — it is the reason a purchase department can plan a schedule around us without keeping a second source on standby.

2010
Kalika Enterprises is founded
The company is established on 18 October 2010 in Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, with a single drawing line, to manufacture cold drawn bright bar for the engineering industry around it.
2018
ISO certification
Kalika Enterprises is ISO certified from 2018, formalising the quality system that was already running on the shop floor — incoming inspection, in-process checks and documented final verification.
2019
Second drawing line commissioned
Rising repeat volume from fastener and general engineering customers justifies a second line, so grade changeovers on one line no longer hold up production of another.
2020
Third drawing line commissioned
A third line is added along with the coil-to-bar route, taking the plant to its current three-line configuration and widening the size range run in volume.
Range
From mild steel to case hardening alloy
The grade range widens from general purpose MS and free cutting EN1A into medium carbon EN8 variants, and then into the Mn-Cr case hardening alloys that automotive gear work demands — 16MnCr5, 16MnCr5H and 20MnCr5, supplied soft annealed and ready to machine.
Systems
Production moved onto an ERP
Heat numbers, drawing line, shift, operator, die and dispatch are recorded in a single system instead of a register. This is what makes true heat traceability possible — and it is what an IATF 16949 customer asks to see.
Today
1,500+ MT a month, ten grades, fully traceable
Three drawing lines and a coil-to-bar route, ISO certified since 2018, supplying fastener, gear, shaft, hydraulic and general engineering manufacturers across Maharashtra — with a test certificate on every dispatch.
2026
Next phase of expansion
A further capacity expansion is planned for 2026, continuing the same line-by-line growth that has taken the plant from one drawing line in 2010 to three today.
Case study
“Consistent hardenability across every batch — with full traceability for our IATF audit.”

Why buy from us
What a purchase manager actually needs
15 years, without a break
Manufacturing continuously since 2010. A supplier who has held schedules through demonetisation, the GST transition and the COVID shutdowns is a supplier you can plan against.
We are the manufacturer
Not a trader. Three drawing lines, shot blasting, straightening, cutting and testing under one roof — so lead time, tolerance and consistency are ours to control, not something we pass along.
Traceability that survives an audit
Heat number captured once at goods receipt and inherited by every document downstream, to a QR tag on the bundle and onto your challan. No re-keying, no reconstruction.
The documentation ships with the steel
A Kalika test certificate with every dispatch, alongside the mill certificate for that heat. Your incoming inspection gets certified chemistry, not an assumed grade.

Questions
Frequently asked
- How long has Kalika Enterprises been manufacturing bright bar?
- Kalika Enterprises was established on 18 October 2010 in Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and has manufactured cold drawn bright bar continuously for over 15 years.
- What is a bright bar?
- A bright bar is a hot rolled steel bar that has been shot blasted to remove mill scale and then cold drawn through a hardened die. Drawing gives it a bright surface, a controlled diameter tolerance, improved straightness and higher tensile strength than the hot rolled condition.
- Which steel grades does Kalika Enterprises manufacture?
- Ten grades across four families: MS and SAE 1018 (low carbon), EN8, EN8D and EN8M (medium carbon), EN1A and EN1A PB (free cutting), and 16MnCr5, 16MnCr5H and 20MnCr5 (case hardening alloy).
- Do you supply a mill test certificate with every dispatch?
- Yes. Every consignment ships with a test certificate carrying the heat number, alongside the original mill certificate for that heat. The heat number is also printed on the delivery challan and carried on a QR tag on each bundle.
- What is the difference between 16MnCr5 and 16MnCr5H?
- Standard 16MnCr5 is supplied to a chemical composition. 16MnCr5H is additionally supplied to a certified hardenability band verified by the Jominy end-quench test, so case depth stays consistent from batch to batch on a fixed carburising cycle.
- What sizes and tolerances are available?
- Round bar from approximately 5.5 mm to 65 mm and hex from 6 mm to 46 mm across flats, in h9, h10 and h11 tolerance bands. Exact availability for a given grade and size is confirmed on enquiry.
- Where is Kalika Enterprises located and where do you deliver?
- The plant is in Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. We supply engineering industries across Maharashtra.
