For over 15 years we have bought wire rod coil and hot rolled black bar, and turned it into bright bar ourselves — on our own lines, with our own people, under our own documentation.
Who we are
Cold drawn steel, made in Waluj MIDC
Kalika Enterprises was established on 18 October 2010. Together with Devi Steels, it manufactures cold drawn bright bar in Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. We are not a rolling mill and we do not make TMT. We do one thing: take steel that arrives as wire rod coil or hot rolled black bar, and draw it into precision bright bar.
That focus is deliberate. Cold drawing is a process where small things decide the outcome — scale left on the surface scores a die, a worn die marks every metre drawn after it, lubrication governs both finish and die life, and straightening is either a controlled operation or an excuse. A plant that does only this gets those things right.
Our customers are engineering companies across Maharashtra: fastener shops running automatic lathes, gear and transmission manufacturers supplying the automotive chain, hydraulic cylinder makers, and general engineering workshops. What they buy from us is not really steel — it is steel they do not have to check, argue about, or explain to their own auditor.
That is why we built our production on an ERP system rather than a register. Every incoming heat is booked once, and every document downstream inherits it — to the QR tag on the bundle, onto the delivery challan, and onto the certificate that ships with the load.

Capacity you can plan against
At 1,500+ MT a month, we are not a small workshop taking occasional orders. That capacity is what lets us hold repeat schedules for volume customers without pushing someone else’s delivery back — and we have been doing it since 2010.

Fifteen years is not a number on a page
A supplier who has run continuously since 2010 has kept dispatches moving through the 2016 demonetisation, the GST transition, the COVID shutdowns and every steel price cycle in between. That is not marketing — it is the reason a purchase department can plan a schedule around us without keeping a second source on standby.

2010
Kalika Enterprises is founded
The company is established on 18 October 2010 in Waluj MIDC, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, with a single drawing line, to manufacture cold drawn bright bar for the engineering industry around it.
2018
ISO certification
Kalika Enterprises is ISO certified from 2018, formalising the quality system that was already running on the shop floor — incoming inspection, in-process checks and documented final verification.
2019
Second drawing line commissioned
Rising repeat volume from fastener and general engineering customers justifies a second line, so grade changeovers on one line no longer hold up production of another.
2020
Third drawing line commissioned
A third line is added along with the coil-to-bar route, taking the plant to its current three-line configuration and widening the size range run in volume.
Range
From mild steel to case hardening alloy
The grade range widens from general purpose MS and free cutting EN1A into medium carbon EN8 variants, and then into the Mn-Cr case hardening alloys that automotive gear work demands — 16MnCr5, 16MnCr5H and 20MnCr5, supplied soft annealed and ready to machine.
Systems
Production moved onto an ERP
Heat numbers, drawing line, shift, operator, die and dispatch are recorded in a single system instead of a register. This is what makes true heat traceability possible — and it is what an IATF 16949 customer asks to see.

1,500+ MT a month, ten grades, fully traceable
Three drawing lines and a coil-to-bar route, ISO certified since 2018, supplying fastener, gear, shaft, hydraulic and general engineering manufacturers across Maharashtra — with a test certificate on every dispatch.
2026
Next phase of expansion
A further capacity expansion is planned for 2026, continuing the same line-by-line growth that has taken the plant from one drawing line in 2010 to three today.

What we are not
Said plainly
Not a rolling mill
We do not melt or hot roll steel. We buy from established mills and process it.
Not a TMT manufacturer
No construction reinforcement bar. Our product goes into machines, not buildings.
Not a trader
Every bright bar we sell was drawn on our own lines, on a recorded shift, by our own operator.
Not a heat treatment shop
We supply case hardening grades soft annealed and ready to machine. The carburising happens at your end or your heat treater — we give you the certified hardenability to make it repeatable.
