We have been running the same plant for over 15 years, and we hire the same way. Our line operators are permanent monthly-salaried employees, not contract labour — because cold drawing rewards experience, and experience needs continuity.

Kalika Enterprises makes cold drawn bright bar in Waluj MIDC — three drawing lines, shot blasting, straightening, cutting and inspection, running over 1,500 MT a month for engineering customers across Maharashtra.
It is a focused plant, and that shapes the work. You learn one process deeply rather than a little of many. Operators know their machines, supervisors know their grades, and the people who make the decisions are on the floor rather than in another city.
Every run is recorded against the operator who made it. That is not surveillance — it is what lets good work be recognised and a problem be traced to a cause instead of a guess.

Roles
Where we usually hire
These are the roles we recruit for through the year. Even when nothing is open we keep applications on file — a vacancy that appears later often gets filled from that file.
Machine Operator — Drawing Line
Running a cold drawing line across a shift: setup, die changes, monitoring the pull, and recording production against the heat number.
Looking for: ITI or equivalent, or experience on drawing, rolling or heavy machine tools.
Line Supervisor
Running a shift across lines — planning the sequence, managing changeovers, and owning the quality of what leaves the line.
Looking for: Several years on cold drawing or a comparable process, and the judgement to match.
Quality Inspector
Incoming verification against heat certificates, in-process dimensional checks, final inspection and certificate preparation.
Looking for: Comfortable with micrometers and gauges, and careful with paperwork.
Stores & Dispatch
Goods receipt and heat number capture, bundle storage by grade and size, loading and delivery documentation.
Looking for: Organised, systematic, and able to work with our ERP on a tablet or phone.
Accounts
Purchase and sales entries, ledger reconciliation, and Tally alongside our ERP.
Looking for: Tally experience and an eye for a figure that does not balance.
Sales
Handling enquiries, preparing quotations, following orders through to dispatch, and keeping customers informed.
Looking for: Technical enough to talk grades, and steady enough to follow up properly.
