A drawing arrives specifying 5115, or SCr415, or 1.7131. They are all pointing at the same family of steel. This chart maps every grade we produce across six standards.

Equivalent does not mean identical
Two standards can define overlapping composition ranges and still differ in the detail that matters for your part — permitted residuals, cleanliness requirements, or whether hardenability is certified at all. If a drawing calls out a specific standard, tell us which one and we will confirm what we can supply against it rather than assume the nearest match will do.
Chemical composition and mechanical properties shown are as per the applicable standard and are indicative. Actual values for your consignment are certified in the Mill Test Certificate supplied with each dispatch. Available sizes and tolerances are confirmed at the time of enquiry.
